Main Fishing Plants

FISHING PLANTS DESCRIPTION

Description of company assets:: 4 fishing plants, 3 located in Mar del Plata and 1 in Puerto Deseado, with frozen cold storage capacity of 9.000 a 16.000 tons.; Square Meters: 28.000; Trucks: 11; Refrigerators: 5; Chassis cooling equipment: 6

Industrial Plant and refrigerators were built in 1976 in the city of Mar del Plata.
This plant is enabled operationally by the National Agrifood Health (SENASA) Argentine government agency responsible for overseeing compliance with the health standards of the country.
The plant also has a Quality Control laboratory, equipped with the latest technology, responsible for approving all checks processed products.
The processes are completed under the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), offering a special guarantee to have the information and ongoing monitoring of raw materials and finished products.
It also has a facility for processing, refrigerators, and one of the largest scale ice factories in the city, which ensures the freshness of the raw material during the production process.

In 2003 our Group bought a modern plant. This plant was inaugurated ten years ago by another business. There, on its 18.000 existing square meters, 11.000 were built, to meet the needs of the Group and its necesary compatibility to the world tendencies of the activity.
With this plant, located in the industrial heart of the port of Mar del Plata, the Group wants to consolidate its position in the market of products with a high added value.
In the ground floor three integral and parallels lines were installed for procesing fish, wash, cut, packing and freezing.

PROCESSING PLANT

On the first flood, there is going to be a complete line for cooked and pre-cooked products.
The goal is to supply the demand of an increasing segment: frozen foods cooked or semi-cooked.
These products of high added value are consumed, more and more by people in the world, because they allow to save time and offer good solutions to the families, keeping the best nutritional quality.

OUR FISHING FLEET

We count with a fishing fleet with a great capacity of capture and diversification, as regards the different species with fishing possibility.

Fishing boats and factories: 2 Fresher boats, frozen capacity: 1.000 tons. Length: 80 mts each.; 1 Frozen on board vessels, frozen capacity: 700 tons. Length: 65 mts.; 3 Frozen on board vessels appointed to fish Squid, capacidad: 650 toneladas cada uno. Length: 40 mts.; 2 Fresher boats, capacity: 240 tons. Length: 56 mts.; 1 Boat, hold capacity: 4.000 fresh fish boxes. Length: 40 mts.; 1 Boat, hold capacity: 2.700 fresh fish boxes. Length: 33 mts.; 2 Boat, hold capacity: 2.200 fresh fish boxes each. Length: 30 mts.; 2 Boat, hold capacity: 1.656 fresh fish boxes each. Length: 25 mts.

TOTAL: 16 Fishing Vessels of which 4 are FACTORY

PERMITS AND RATINGS DATA

The annual total quota to fish hake and other species is 21,000 tons.

They are currently working all ships, with all the gear for each species and at any point of the Argentine Sea within 200 nautical miles.
One plant is new and has a great production of a species developed and ready to be consumed in all major European and Asian supermarkets with good commercial results.

All vessels are enabled by Naval Prefecture Argentina to fish anywhere in the Argentine Sea, with their fishing permits for each species and required authorizations to transport fish by SENASA, quality control, the compliance of HACCP standards (Hazard Analysis and critical Control Points), special guarantee as to the quality of fish catch for processing. All ships have art equipment in all its aspects.
